1. Our Commitment

Sol Property Management, Inc., doing business as Solaris Property Management, is committed to providing a website that is accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of ability or technology. We strive to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with disabilities, including visual, auditory, motor, and cognitive disabilities.

Accessibility is part of how we treat our owners, residents, agents, vendors, and the public. Housing is a fundamental need, and information about a home you might rent or an investment you might trust to a manager should never be locked behind a barrier.

2. Ongoing Efforts

Digital accessibility is not a one-time project. We work continuously to improve the experience for all users, including:

• Reviewing new pages and components against WCAG 2.1 AA before publication.
• Running periodic automated audits (such as axe and Lighthouse) and addressing reported issues.
• Training the team that writes and maintains site content on accessibility basics — clear language, meaningful link text, descriptive alt text, and proper heading structure.
• Including accessibility requirements in our briefs when we engage outside designers and developers.
• Inviting feedback from users and acting on it.

3. Accessibility Features of This Site

This site has been built with the following accessibility features in mind:

• Semantic HTML — pages use proper headings, landmarks (such as <header>, <nav>, <main>, <footer>), lists, and form labels so that assistive technologies can interpret the structure.
• Alt text on images — meaningful images include text alternatives; purely decorative images are marked so screen readers can skip them.
• Keyboard navigation — interactive elements such as links, buttons, and form fields are reachable and operable using only a keyboard. Visible focus indicators help you see where you are on the page.
• Color contrast — body text, headings, and interactive controls are designed to meet WCAG AA contrast ratios against their backgrounds.
• Scalable text and responsive layout — text can be enlarged up to 200% in your browser without breaking the layout. The site adapts to phones, tablets, and desktops.
• Descriptive link text — links are written so their purpose is clear out of context (we avoid generic phrases like "click here").
• Form labels and helpful error text — all form fields have visible labels, and required fields are identified.
• Plain language — we aim to write in clear, direct English and define industry terms when needed.

4. Known Limitations

While we work hard to make the site accessible, we know we are not perfect. Areas we are actively reviewing and improving include:

• Some older PDF documents linked from the site may not yet be fully tagged for screen readers. We are converting these as they are updated; in the meantime, contact us for an accessible alternative.
• Map and image-heavy components may have limited alternatives — we describe them in surrounding text and welcome feedback on what would be most useful.
• Embedded third-party widgets (see below) follow their providers' own accessibility roadmaps, which we cannot directly control.

5. Requesting an Accessible Format or Reporting a Barrier

If you encounter a page, document, listing, or feature that is not accessible to you, please tell us so we can fix it and provide the information you need in an accessible format. Common accommodations include reading documents aloud, sending plain-text or large-print versions, or walking you through a process by phone.

• The page, listing, or document you were trying to use (a URL is very helpful).
• The barrier you encountered and the assistive technology or browser you were using, if known.
• The best way to reach you with a response or an accessible alternative.

We aim to acknowledge accessibility requests within two business days and to provide the requested information or an accessible alternative as soon as reasonably possible.

6. Third-Party Content

Our site links to and embeds tools provided by third parties, including the Buildium owner and resident portals, TenantTurner rental listings and scheduling, PetScreening, and mapping tools. While we choose vendors that take accessibility seriously, these services are maintained by their providers and have their own accessibility statements, which control their portions of the experience. If you encounter a barrier inside a third-party tool, please contact us — we will help you complete the task and, where appropriate, raise the issue with the vendor.
